On the 01.10.1990, the lawyers Michael Bachmann und Matthias Krauss and a Colleague founded the law firm of Bachmann, Krauss & Colleagues. The first business premises were at the former Wanderer factory. The fast-paced development necessitated larger premises by 1993. One year later, further premises were rented in Zwickau, opposite the Robert Schumann Museum. Lawyer Yvette Wagler joined the team in April 2004 and heads the offices in Zwickau.

In February 1999 the team was expanded with the recruitment of Lawyer Jens Humml, who specialises in administrative law and local government law.

Efforts to promote specialisation and variation in practice areas lead to the recruitment of Lawyer Alexander Krauss.
